20 years ago, it was our family food destination of choice; sons and daughters sat through many a Napolitana in carry-cots and pushchairs. But like so many businesses, without its founding driving force it cut corners, we moved on and so, it appears, did many others. On our last (nothing else open or bearable) visit, it was as much fun as a visit to Boots, WH Smith or an airport. All of which were, usually, quite fun 20 years ago.

So it looks as though Cash ISAs are safe for the moment (FTM – is that a thing?) Rachel has apparently ‘bowed to pressure’ from the banks and building societies and decided not to reduce the allowance to £4,000 for cash and to keep the £20,000 parity with Stocks and Shares ISAs. Bowed also to common sense, I’d say.
