What is it with these (Tory) backbenchers? They started the whole Brexit thing, and have this week been lining up to shout for lockdown to end, schools to reopen and only just stopped short of asking for the return of Eat Out to Help Out. OK, I’m very lucky, I know, a business that’s continued despite everything, no home-schooling nightmares, living in the countryside etc. But, sorry, Jezza is right, we can’t mess up all over again in the name of ‘freedom’. Not exactly a difficult-to-learn lesson of history, is it? Just the last 10 months…
