I don’t think Theresa should model herself on Churchill in ‘Darkest Hour’, the new movie which Mr Trump found so inspiring. It was Hugh Grant’s Prime Minister in ‘Love Actually’ (a performance sadly overlooked by the Oscars) who stood up to the US President: ‘We may be a small country, but we’re a great one, the country of Shakespeare, The Beatles, Harry Potter…’ Let’s face it, there are more than a few precedents for TV and movie stars becoming world leaders. Go for it, Hugh.
